Nestled in the amazing backdrop of Ansó, the Hostal Bosque de Gamueta offers a good retreat for adventure enthusiasts like myself. My recent visit during Easter was a rejuvenating escape, where I savored the freedom of skiing and cycling in the nearby mountains with a couple of fellow adventurers. The warm and inviting atmosphere of the hostal complements its practical amenities, including a shared kitchen for post-activity meals and a charming lounge where we exchanged stories of the day. Each room, equipped with cozy bedding and essential comforts like flat-screen TVs and free WiFi, provided a welcome sanctuary after long days outdoors. I particularly enjoyed some rooms featuring balconies, offering a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the serene mountain views. Starting the day with a continental breakfast made it all the more enjoyable. While Pamplona Airport is a bit of a trek away at 105 km, the journey through the stunning scenery is well worth it for such an authentic alpine experience.
